The ceremony begins at 10:00am. The ceremony will last approximately one hour. Please remain seated until all graduates and faculty/staff have exited at the end of the ceremony.

Applause: Family/guests are invited to stand in recognition of graduate achievement. Whistling, cheering, and boisterous behavior are considered inappropriate. Applause is traditionally reserved until after all diplomas, certificates, and degrees have been awarded so that everyone’s name may be heard.

Please make sure your cell phones are turned off or silenced.

Children are welcome but please note the ceremony is not designed to keep the attention of young children. If necessary, please make child-care arrangements or sit where exits are nearby for quick exiting as children may become restless and uncomfortable with the ceremony.
